Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our research team as a research technician in the Creighton University Department of Physical Therapy. This individual will be joining an integrated clinical and research center with an overarching goal of keeping people active throughout their lifetime. Our research aims focus on optimizing function for children and young adults with movement disorders, such as cerebral palsy (CP). The research technician will help coordinate funded studies investigating the following: intervention fidelity for gait training among adolescents and young adults with CP; upper extremity movement using wearable motion sensors for infants with and without developmental delays; and parent engagement in outpatient pediatric therapy services.
Responsibilities will include project management (e.g., supporting recruitment, participant scheduling, oversight of student workers, and communication), assisting with on-site data collection (Omaha, Nebraska and surrounding areas), data processing and analysis, and assisting with dissemination activities. The research assistant will also assist with other ongoing activities in the lab.
This is a grant funded position for one year, beginning July 1, 2024. Once grant funding has been exhausted, the position will end. Additional annual renewals are dependent on performance and funding.
