Essential Functions

These are the job duties required of the position.

Essential Functions

• Implements research techniques for a major research program, including a grant-funded study of a school-based intervention for violence and suicide prevention.

• Assists in data collection in middle schools, teacher and school personnel training, creating and testing online surveys, and support other team members in various tasks related to data collection and the intervention.

• Assists with community advisory board meetings.

• Leads community recruitment and engagement activities.

• Recruits youth for school-based surveys, and administers surveys to students.

• Assists in data entry and cleaning and other tasks as needed.

• Works with a large and active research team, with the work performed under the general supervision of a Principal Investigator.

• Regular and prompt attendance.

• Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required.

• Related duties as required.
