We are looking for an extraordinary polymer scientist to develop novel materials for our 3D printing platform. Materials are at the core of what we do. Our materials are used for applications such as prototyping, dental, biomedical, automotive, aerospace, footwear, investment casting, and many more. You will work as part of a cohesive and high-energy team, but also direct individual projects and have freedom to execute as you see fit.


  • Validate consistency of key raw materials in resins, and help setting specs for raw materials

  • Test incoming batches of resins to validate consistency, and trouble-shoot for causes leading to variations

  • Test robustness of different resin formulations including high/low temperature stability and long term storage stability

  • Participate in formulation and scale-up of developed products

  • Print formulations to understand how printing parameters, liquid and cured properties of resin affect the final outcome of the product.


  • BS or MS with background in polymer, chemistry, materials science, and chemical engineering.

  • Hands on experience in formulations, and attention to details

  • Experience with UV-curing chemistry and/or polyurethane chemistry

  • Strong analytical skills with good data tracking and presentation ability

  • Safety conscious individual who actively promotes safe behavior in the department and takes responsibility for safe lab operations

Position The department of Immuno-Oncology Discovery at Bristol Myers Squibb, Redwood City is seeking a highly motivated Research Scientist to join a group of researchers evaluating novel therapies in the field of cancer immunotherapy. The candidate will characterize immuno-modulatory antibodies, and explore mechanism of action and combinatorial therapeutic strategies. Qualifications * Master degree in immunology, oncology or related field and a minimum of 4 years of experience or BS with a minimum of 7 years of experience * Enthusiasm about immuno-oncology research * Knowledge of immunology including markers, functions, and interactions of immune cell subsets, immunotherapy modalities, antibodies * Proficiency in the following laboratory techniques is required: * Immune cell isolation from whole blood (one of the following: Ficoll and MACS, RosetteSep, EasySep, etc.) * Functional assays with primary immune cells (myeloid, B, or T cells) * Multi-color flow cytometry (8 or more channels, operate BD or BC flow cytometers) * ELISA or ELISPOT or Luminex * Mammalian cell culture * Tissue/tumor dissociation into single-cell suspension * Data analysis using GraphPad/Prism and SoftmaxPro * Proficiency in the following laboratory techniques is strongly preferred: * IP/WB (immunoprecipitation) * Phospho-flow * Proficiency in the following laboratory techniques is a plus: * Functional assays to measure phagocytosis or NK/CD8 cytotoxicity (flow- or imaging-based) * Assays to evaluate bispecific antibodies or CAR-T cells * Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic and innovative research environment * Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational, and record-keeping skills Bristol Myers Squibb Redwood City CA
