The Technology Initiative supports the development and conduct of clinical translational research (CTR) aimed to improve healthcare delivery. This includes research and quality improvement projects that design and implement novel technologies and devices, assess the impact on patient and staff experience, and evaluate quality of life for patients and clinicians. The position will be leading the coordination and support of the Technology Initiative Programming, including research and education for engineering and technology in healthcare.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

Health Science or related field

Microsoft Suite Required Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1.Knowledge needed to execute and/or provide oversight and training of: human subjects research or quality improvement procedures including regulatory requirements for human subjects research, HIPPA compliance, and informed consent.
2.Familiarity with the Microsoft Office programs for data entry, data sharing, Team communication, and Project Tracking.
3.Ability to work independently and cooperatively with Health Systems Engineering Liaison and Engineering Liaison and other GP IDeA-CTR staff, including delegating duties, to help coordinate diverse research projects and engagement in research support.
4.Ability to focus on specific projects and maintain close communication with other project members within the IDeA-CTR, across the university system, and with outside collaborators.
Preferred Education: Master's degree If any degree/training is preferred, please specify the type:
MS/MA in Engineering, Psychology or professional degree (MPH/MBA) in Public Health or Business Administration.
Preferred Experience:
Experience working in human subjects research and/or project management.
Previous experience with clinical research, quality improvement or work in a
health care setting. Experience with project management and project management software.
Training and experience in process mapping, Lean/SixSigma, or statistical analysis is preferred. Experience with survey design.
