Research Program Coordinator at St Vincent Medical Center, in Portland, OR

Full-Time/Day Shift

The Program Coordinator supports all stages and facets of observational research projects for the Center for Cardiovascular Analytics, Research + Data Science (CARDS) within the Providence Heart Institute Oregon. The Program Coordinator provides support and assistance in the following key areas: (1) Institutional Review Board (IRB) submissions and renewals, (2) creation and submission of research abstracts, posters, and manuscripts, and (3) project management, coordination, and documentation.

Skills needed for this role include:

  • Maintaining high levels of organization and efficiency to handle multiple responsibilities and shifting priorities in a busy working environment.

  • Initiating, researching, and completing tasks with minimal supervision.

  • Working effectively with multidisciplinary teams, as the point person for project management, coordination, and communication.

  • Understanding the details of research processes, documents, and submission requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree.

  • 2 years - Project management or coordination experience.

  • Experience facilitating groups involved in collaborative projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree.

  • Experience working in a research-related position.

  • Experience with IRB requirements and processes.
