The Research Operations Manager plays a critical role in driving process management for key workstreams related to internal operations and member service delivery. He / she will be responsible for building strong working relationships with leaders from across Research Solutions, Operations, Syndicated, Retention Marketing, and Optum. A process-oriented leader with experience supporting client management or sales teams will thrive in this role.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Operationalize and execute against Net Promoter Survey process to maximize staff and client participation

  • Includes oversight over member outreach campaign and action planning process

  • Drive Salesforce migration workstream to ensure critical member service and utilization data is captured. Includes:

  • Effective interdepartmental communication with stakeholders across Optum and Advisory Board Operations teams

  • Keen understanding of priority client service activities and tracking needs

  • Insight into appropriate communication channels to effectively manage process change and compliance within Client Management

  • Manage Research Solutions Key Performance Indicator development, tracking, and department communication

  • Build strong working relationships with Syndicated colleagues to act as a liaison between commercial department and research team. Includes:

  • Ownership of Research411 distribution channel for timely product updates to appropriate sales and client management constituencies

  • Regular curation of central collateral library

  • Act as a service expert and resource to Client Management Advisors. Includes:

  • Proactive identification of opportunities to improve client service

  • Sharing best practices and resources to help client managers build service activities into their workstreams (i.e. new member onboarding and service delivery, main contact identification and utilization, proactive membership updates)

  • May include support for service delivery on member calls and visits on occasion, but not required

  • Direct National Meeting Recruitment strategy. Includes:

  • Overseeing work of 2 Meeting Recruitment Associates

  • Collaborating with Syndicated and Retention Marketing to develop initial recruitment plan, track trends and identify opportunities to iterate on strategy

  • Maintaining accountability for penetration goals across all meeting series

  • Own and execute against other change management initiatives as they arise, particularly those related to service process (i.e. process for covering member travel, process for activating memberships, etc.)

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 3 years of Client Management and/or Sales experience

  • Presentation experience

  • Experience managing a staff

  • Experience navigating complex departments

  • Intermediate proficiency within MS Office Suite

  • Team collaboration experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing multiple competing priorities

  • Experience finding multiple solutions to a complex problem

  • Experience developing personal organization tactics to meet business goals

  • Intermediate proficiency in Salesforce reporting

A Property Operations Manager is responsible for managing the functionality and safety of the facility to protect the well-being of all guests and team members in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. This position will also handle the management of security & loss prevention at the property. Embassy Suites Washington D.C. has 318 guest suites and is a dual property with the District Club by Hilton Grand Vacations. This position will report to the Director of Property Operations and oversee a team of 5 Property Engineers. This person must be flexible to work all shifts as deemed necessary by hotel occupancy, including weekends and holidays. What will I be doing? As Property Operations Manager, you would be responsible for managing the functionality and safety of the facility to protect the well-being of all guests and team members in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: * Manage the functionality and safety of the facility, including, but not limited to, physical buildings, mechanical equipment, electrical systems, heating and cooling systems, life safety systems and grounds according to federal, state and local regulations * Conduct facility inspections and direct general construction and the installation, maintenance and repair of all electrical, mechanical and architectural systems throughout the facility to ensure operational efficiency and safety * Assign, verify and document completion of all routine maintenance and repairs in the property maintenance management system * Communicates with city/county/state officials to ensure the proper maintenance of permits and licenses, to coordinate required inspections and to ensure full compliance with codes, regulations and safety standards to protect the well-being of all guests and team members. * Assists in the execution of capital projects and property rehabilitations. * Monitor team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations, providing professional development and delivering recognition and reward * Recruit, interview and train team members * Act as liaison between hotel and vendors to review and assess latest hotel technology and products related to facility efficiency What are we looking for?
