Research Medical Technologist

General Summary of Position

MedStar Health Research Institute has an immediate opportunity for a Research Medical Technologist to join our team on the campus of MedStar Washington Hospital Center. Under the direction of the Research Laboratory Director, this position performs assays in support of various research projects. Additionally, this position supports the research biorepository. Ideal candidate will have medical technologist certification and be familiar with the Atellica CHEM analyzer.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in health science or related degree, or equivalent work experience that the objectives of the position are equaled required

Experience

• 1-2 years of related experience preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Certification preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Must possess organizational and lab technical skills with the ability to manage multiple duties with close attention to detail.

This position has a hiring range of $29.15 - $48.99
