Job Description:

KMSB FOX 11, a TEGNA Media company, is seeking a Research Manager responsible for analyzing and coordinating audience data for KMSB's television and digital media. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of analytics for media (i.e., ratings and audience data per Nielsen & com

Score), qualitative research, and other research tools including but not limited to Media Monitor and Scarborough research. The individual must be well-organized, analytical, and command a high-level proficiency with Powerpoint and Excel. This person should be able analyze data gathered from a variety of sources and provide insights helpful to sellers.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Corporate reporting, project managing special projects as requested by the Station Manager, Local Sales Management as well as the News and Creative Services departments, local management of research systems including Wide Orbit Media Sales (including data entry). This position also is a big contributor to KMSB's Sales Intranet Site. Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • College degree and a minimum of three years' experience in media research (or related electronic-media experience with research knowledge) is preferred.

The Associate Clinical Director will be responsible for day to day oversight to ensure a compliant infrastructure to enhance subject safety, assist faculty in the development, implementation and conduct of clinical research, and ensure regulatory compliance with services, education, and training that are designed to foster research teams who are benchmarking the next generation of clinical care. The Director will oversee the management of clinical research assigned to the cardiovascular division, and interface with clinical partners to ensure efficient and effective operations. This person will work closely with our hospital partner to achieve goals. Once established, the incumbent will be expected to assess all clinical research endeavors within cardiology, merging, consolidating and increasing efficiency where possible. Duties will include managing operational and logistical tasks of cardiology related research development to ensure efficient execution of trials within established budgets and timelines, ensuring all activities occur in compliance with appropriate regulations, including FDA regulations, IDE guidelines, etc. The successful applicant will efficiently manage the CV research team to ensure fast patient recruitment, trial plan optimization, and execution of trials, taking advantage of existing institutional infrastructure where appropriate. The Associate Clinical Director will be expected to foster development of investigator initiated research and an ongoing sponsored clinical trials program under the leadership of the Department of Internal Medicine. Duties & Responsibilities * Ensure that all clinical research activities are in compliance with appropriate regulations, (including FDA, CFR, IDE guidelines, HIPAA, Conflict of Interest and Institutional policies). * Efficient management of resources to ensure fast patient recruitment, trial plan optimization, and execution of trials, taking advantage of existing institutional infrastructure where appropriate. * Provide assistance, training and supervision for regulatory staff, research coordinators and research nurses. * Administrative and operational management of the clinical research program. * Participate as a critical member of the clinical research advisory team in short-term and long-term strategic planning for the unit. * Leadership of new initiatives in structural heart and cardiac research and early phase clinical research under the direction of the Department of Internal Medicine. * Personnel, payroll, financial, budgetary, and facilities planning for growth of the research operation. * Development of standard operating procedures and policies for CV research staff. * Ability to supervise development and maintenance of quality control procedures with accountability and rapid cycle response when corrective or preventive actions are required. * Development of business projections/models to evaluate clinical research unit performance, leverage existing infrastructure to maximize profitability of the research enterprise, and develop data driven business models to assist with decision-making and future solvency of a growing clinical research unit, which will ultimately serve multiple faculty with high quality service. * Ability to develop creative services and business models that foster and enhance collaborative research. * Assist in review of clinical research contracts and budgets.
