Job Duties
The mission of the Advanced Manufacturing Logistics Institute is to provide resources to support workforce development, economic growth, focusing on logistics and advanced manufacturing. It also will provide integrated solutions to diverse areas of logistics systems that meet customer requirements and are cost effective, secure, and dependable.

Minimum Qualifications
Earned PhD in Advanced Manufacturing Logistics or related field*
Knowledge of a subject/field and current research in a discipline housed in the department.
Ability to develop effective research agenda
Experience identifying sources of funding, preparing research proposals and submitting funding applications
Demonstrated ability to promote a team effort within the department for research and project activities
Ability to use research results to write reports, papers and reviews and present findings in journals and conferences.
Must be able to collaborate with research teams, industry stakeholders and government agencies.
Develop, manage and implement research activities
Skilled in writing and submitting grants
Must have experience managing research grants expenditures
Must be able to support the research agenda of the program
Additional Considerations
7+ years' experience in a Research Faculty role strongly desired, but not required.
