Join us and be a part of the diverse Caltech community. Job Summary CAST is seeking a Research Engineering Associate to participate in various fabrication projects. This Research Engineering Associate will also participate in weekly meetings with students and other technical staff and prepare weekly reports on the progress of various projects.

Essential Job Duties Assist in the design of drones and robots. Write computer programs for interface with hardware. Assemble and build hardware.

Print on 3D printers and rapid manufacturing machinery. Bench test motors and actuators. Support lab equipment maintenance.

Write research progress reports. Basic Qualifications BS or higher in Mechanical Engineering. Extensive experience with SolidWorks.

Demonstrable knowledge of basic electronics. Knowledge of and experience using high voltage Lithium batteries. Required Documents Resume
