Research Engineer I, Step 1

Purpose of the Position:

The Research Engineer I will support Airworthiness Qualification efforts for aircraft sub-systems and ground support equipment that are common across multiple Army platforms. The incumbent will support Platform Divisions with component level qualification and technical data to support integration, airworthiness release development. Prepare and coordinate component level Statement of Airworthiness Qualification (SAQ).

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems

• 0 - 12 months of full-time directly related work experience

• Support of SMAP Center engineering projects for 3+ months

• Knowledge of Creo, SolidEdge, and SolidWorks

• U.S. citizenship is required

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• 6+ months directly related full-time work experience.
• 18+ months work experience.
• MATLAB, Python.

$51,304 - $58,000
