ANS is looking for an organized and positive specialist to work in Research and Development.
This position reviews solid dose quotes for accuracy while ensuring that each product's specifications are met including label claims, serving size, raw materials, sources, etc. Part of the formulations committee that signs off on change orders that involves any formulation changes. Reviews and approves all master formulas and pilots.
Reviews product labels and the new raw material initialization process. Determines short and long product descriptions that are entered in the ERP system and classifies them. Creates Supplement Fact Panels for products.

Follow all company policies and procedures.
Follow and ensure compliance to quality system and cGMP programs.
Create and process quotes as requested by Sales and R&D Managers.
Create Supplement Facts Panels and Nutrition Facts Panels for labels as needed following FDA
Review and approve product labels to ensure they meet FDA requirements.
Make changes to formulas and batch instructions as directed by R&D Managers including
issuing change orders and deviations.
New part number set up when a new material is sourced, a new raw material initialization form is
received to determine short and long description, classification, and to initiate a specification sheet.
Reviews and signs-off on master formulas and batch sizes. When new formulas are created and entered into a batch size, reviews for accuracy while ensuring claims and specifications are being met, and signs off for master batch sizes. Ensures that new batch size is the correct revision.
Pilot review/approval formula template for pilot is received. Compares template to what was entered in the ERP system, reviews for accuracy, and approves.
Change order review/approval all change orders that are submitted by Sales must be reviewed by the responsible committee. Reviews and signs-off on the change when a change order involves a formulation change.
Performs other duties as assigned or needed.
Must have a Bachelors degree or equivalent.
Five years work experience needed.
No certifications or licenses required.
Must have moderate math skills.
Moderate reading skills required.
Complex computer skills needed.
Must have complex language skills.
Must have moderate writing skills.
Must be willing to learn new tasks and procedures.
Due to the manufacturing nature of the enterprise as well as its physical proximity to Mexico and Latin America, reading, writing and/or speaking fluency in multiple languages may be required.
Ability to efficiently and effectively perform all essential position duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation without posing a direct safety threat to others or self.
