Sr. Machine Learning/ Edge Inference
AMD Research seeks an experienced researcher to work on designing, modeling, and analyzing advanced processor and system architectures. The candidate should have a PhD degree (or equivalent industrial experience) in computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
A strong candidate will have excellent programming skills (e.g., experience with C, C++, Python, MPI, OpenMP, CUDA, and/or OpenCL), a strong understanding of the hardware-software stack (ideally from computer architecture through the software layers), excellent problem-solving skills, and experience with team-based software engineering. Additional desirable attributes include expertise with one or more of: Linux kernels and drivers, FPGA design, architectural simulators, GPGPU compute, profilers and debuggers, memory systems, application performance tuning, machine learning, scientific computing.
Possible work locations include Austin TX, Bellevue WA, Boxborough, MA, and Santa Clara CA.
