Research Data Analyst - TGH Cancer Institute

Job Summary:

Under the direct supervision of a manager or director and according to established policies and procedures, the Research Data Analyst performs data analysis related to clinical research information system programs, projects and trials, including associated ancillary applications. This position also provides training regarding all systems related to research.

The Research Data Analyst ensures data integrity of all systems related to research.

This position also provides data analysis within the clinical trials management applications, develops and analyzes reports related to this position and also performs data analyst workflow analysis and support. Directly interacts with assigned department managers and senior level staff to provide data analysis.

Participates in department and hospital task forces, focus groups and/or committees as assigned by their supervisor to meet the group objectives. Employs intermediate analytical and technical evaluative process; managerial and interpersonal perspectives. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.

Required Skills:

Bachelor's degree in related field. Experience in Healthcare, Clinical Trial Management System, eRegulatory, and Electronic Medical Record. Experience in Research is preferred.

Bachelor's degree in health administration, health care, information systems, computer science or related field and up to two years of information technology experience or healthcare operations experience.
