Perform day-to-day activities of research studies from inception to conclusion as assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities
Recruit, screen, enroll and obtain consent/assent from research participants.
Coordinate research protocols including arranging necessary appointments and procedures, working collaboratively with other departments within the institution, and maintaining contact with study participants.
Conduct the activities of the study according to protocols.
Collect and enter study data.
Identify problems or obstacles in the study/procedures related research protocols and communicate to the study investigators.
Assure compliance with all relevant IRB processes and other regulatory agency requirements.
Maintain study timeline including tracking deadlines for the study.
Expertise in technical skills related to the completion of study activities as required by protocol.
Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required.
Education and Experience
Associate degree in nursing or other related health care related field required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum one (1) year of related experience in medical (research) setting required. Pediatric experience preferred.
Experience in a healthcare related field or research is preferred.
