The Center for Technology and Behavioral Health (CTBH) at Dartmouth is currently seeking a Research Coordinator to join our digital mental health research initiative. This novel study employs digital phenotyping and deep learning to understand the rapid changes in symptomatology of serious mental illnesses. The Research Coordinator (RC) will be an integral member of the team, working in close collaboration with Dr. Nicholas Jacobson, and will provide pivotal support to the investigative team by conducting diagnostic interviews, managing participant consent, and ensuring adherence to study protocols. The RC will have the unique opportunity to influence the development of innovative research documents, including the study protocol, and to engage directly with participants in groundbreaking research activities.

The successful candidate will excel in communication with study investigators, exhibit strong attention to detail, and possess exemplary organizational skills. The RC will work effectively study leadership and attend and present at meetings. The RC will engage with our national innovative digital recruitment strategy and contribute to a robust body of work with a rich potential for publishing due to extensive preliminary data.

Description Required Qualifications

  • Education and Yrs Exp Bachelors plus 6 or more years' experience or combination of education and experience Required Qualifications

  • Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

Bachelor's degree in human services related field, or the equivalent.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as a team member.

Meticulous attention to detail; organized, efficient, and able to handle competing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in research, particularly with a focus on mental health.

Prior experience in projects related to digital health, ecological momentary assessment, psychiatric interviews, passive sensor data utilization, or deep learning models.

Executes research activities as delineated in the study protocol, such as obtaining informed consent, enrolling and assessing participants, tracking study timelines, providing compensation, conducting diagnostic interviews, and maintaining thorough research and regulatory documentation.
