We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Research Coordinator. We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Research Coordinator. In this role, the successful candidate along with the Program Manager manages the activities of the Clinical Trials office and provide support to Research Data Associates and ensures the effective management of clinical trials, studies, and general research within the School of Medicine and Medical Center. This role involves providing guidance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with various stakeholders to facilitate research projects.Job Responsibilities:*
  • Provide leadership and supervision to the team of Research Data Associates. * Guide and mentor staff members to ensure adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and other relevant guidelines. * Conduct regular meetings to discuss project updates, address challenges, and provide support as needed. * Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including GCP, ethical conduct, and protection of human subjects. * Oversee the preparation, submission, and obtaining of approvals from scientific review committees and regulatory bodies. * Monitor and track all regulatory submissions and approvals to ensure activation timelines are met. * Assist in the development of protocol-specific standard operating procedures (SOPs). * Collaborate with investigators to prioritize the submission and activation of clinical trials. * Contribute to the development and implementation of local protocols to ensure alignment with sponsor and institutional specifications. * Ensure accurate and timely submission of regulatory documents, including study amendments and IND safety reports. * Maintain regulatory master files for industry and investigator-initiated oncology trials. * Organize and prepare for site initiation visits with sponsors/CROs and the clinical team. * Assist the clinical team in developing trial-specific training tools for study staff. * Facilitate ongoing training and development opportunities for Research Data Associates.Minimum Qualifications:To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree plus 1-2years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency in computer applications with excellent interpersonal, writing, and verbal communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:Master's degree, preferably in science, public health, health education, or a related field.Prior experience in healthcare settings or research-level institutions.Prior patient education experience and knowledge of oncology clinical trials and terminology are advantageous.Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.NYU Grossman School of Medicine provides its staff with far more than just a place to work. The salary range for the role is $62,400.00 - $69,300.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
