USC's Keck School of Medicine, Department of Medicine is seeking a Research Coordinator to join its team. The Research Coordinator is responsible for coordinating assigned projects.
The Research Coordinator position entails assistance with the overall conduct of clinical trials for investigational devices and drugs.
Overall, the successful candidate will have experience working in a clinical trials research environment, have research certification, speak fluent Spanish bilingual, have excellent organizational skills, work well as a member of a small research team, be able to work independently, and have the ability to interact well with study participant. Candidate will work with the PI, department, sponsor, and institution to provide assistance on compliance, financial, administrative, and clinical aspects of all studies. Duties include but are not limited to providing general administrative support, s, preparation and submission of regulatory documents, completion of data collection forms, adverse event reporting, study closure, and all tasks related to the operational conduct of research
Rate Information:
This position will be Non-exempt and On-Site.
The hourly rate range for this position is $30.62 to $35.56

Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree, Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education
Preferred Experience: 3 years in clinical research; Phlebotomy certification
Preferred Field of Expertise: Good clinical practices for clinical trials for investigational drugs and device.

Working knowledge of MS Office applications. Demonstrated effective communication and writing skills. Ability to multi-task and prioritize. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
