Manages multiple projects aimed at developing and implementing comprehensive, integrated marketing, and communication plans focused on informing and creating awareness for D-H's programs and services, specifically for the D-H/Geisel research enterprise.
Develops, implements, and maintains comprehensive and integrated communications plans for D-H, and recommends development and maintenance of channels to deliver organizational messaging.
Responsible for content development and editing for publication, including story generation and dissemination to internal audiences. Assists on other D-H system stories, announcements, and rollout.
Serves as the communications contact for managers, physicians, researchers, department heads and other members of the management team, identifying needs and making recommendations for new programs and communication rollout. Provides advice on varied aspects of marketing strategy, and communications planning.
Assists in the development of internal communications, serving as a writer and editor of key leadership communications to internal audiences throughout D-H.
Works with other internal departments to maximize the effective reach of all electronic messaging, print publications, streaming video, events, and other internal communications targeted to employees.
Serves as a communications consultant/advisor to departments, sections, programs, and/or strategic initiatives where a comprehensive approach to internal communications is critical to success.
Works with vendors in the design, production, and distribution of marketing collateral, advertising, and promotional items.
Researches, writes, proofreads, and edits features and D-H informational, educational, and promotional publications.
Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Bachelor's degree with 6 years of experience in marketing, communications, and/or writing/journalism required.
Strong interpersonal, organizational and oral and written/editing communication skills essential along with attention to detail and a working knowledge of MS office products.
Working knowledge of web Content Management Systems and social media experience preferred.
