Our Laboratory Animal Service Operations provides high quality and consistent breeding project management for genetically engineered mouse model colonies (GEMMs) within our multi-building, multi-discipline research program.

In this role, you will collaborate with research projects by providing high quality and consistent breeding project management and strategic input for genetically engineered mouse model colonies (GEMMs).

You will use your experience in rodent breeding to run internal and external breeding colonies and liaising regularly with assigned research department personnel.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Routinely review, optimize and align breeding goals according progress of drug-development scientific projects

  • Additionally responsible for executing PCR assay protocols and performing genetic assessments

  • Occasionally responsible for hands-on technical in vivo breeding support (i.e. establishing mating pairs, tail cuts, ear tags, ear notches, tattooing, etc.)

  • Possibility of growing responsibility to embryology and cryopreservation activities

  • Routinely responsible for ensuring compliance with all institutional and regulatory protocols, policies, and guidelines

  • Responsible for pursuing continuous learning/professional development opportunities, improving/expanding skill set, and reviewing LAS SOPs/techniques

Desirable Requirements:

  • AAS/BS degree in Biology or other science degree

  • LAT Certification desirable or pursued after start or country specific equivalents as applicable

  • Extensive background in running breeding colonies (scientific and project management), intermediate/advanced knowledge of genetics is a significant benefityour determination to tackle the world's toughest medical challenges.

  • Excellent mathematic & compound dose/volume administration calculation skills

  • Working knowledge of federal, state, local (Animal Welfare) laws, departmental SOP's and Good Laboratory Practices.

  • Detailed understanding and comprehension of operational facts, techniques, nomenclature, equipment, theories, etc. as they relate specifically to job performance function in the laboratory animal research environment

About This Role: Forrester is seeking a Vice President, Research Director to lead a research team for our financial services practice. This role helps financial services (finserv) decision makers drive their firm's success in a hyper-digital and customer-led world. The VP, Research Director is responsible for defining a compelling and actionable research agenda that addresses the needs of innovators in charge of strategy and technology decisions in the financial services sector, constantly challenges their thinking, and helps them lead change. This person also ensures the quality of the research produced by the financial services research team in the areas of banking, insurance, and wealth management. Qualifications * At least 15 years of experience as a practitioner or consultant in financial services areas such as banking, insurance, and/or wealth management. * Minimum five years experience of managing a team of 10 people or larger * Demonstrated ability to advise senior-level clients. * Knowledge of financial services issues and challenges. * Superior analytical, writing, and presentation skills. * The ability to travel 15% to 20% of the time.
