Position Highlights: A Research Associate II position is available in the laboratory of Dr.Brian Czerniecki. We are seeking a highly motivated, organized, detail oriented and team-oriented individual interested in translational immunotherapy for the treatment of solid tumors. The Ideal Candidate: Demonstrate proficiency in general laboratory techniques. Demonstrates familiarity with basic immunology techniques including flow cytometry and ELISA. Is experienced in culturing mammalian cell lines and/or primary mammalian cells. Applicants with a minimum of two years# experience working in a research lab are preferred. Responsibilities:The employee will be responsible for processing samples#including human blood, tissue and apheresis products to develop novel methods for adopotive T cell therapy in breat cancer. They will also be responsible for processing primary breast tissue for TIL isolation and expansion and performing downstream testing as needed. The employee will also be required to maintain detailed records, establish procedures, and process and analyze data. This position requires a flexible work schedule. Credentials and Qualifications:Bachelor#s degree in relevant field. Master#s degree is preferred. Hands-on research experience required Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
