Summary:

We are seeking a Research Associate to assist with the pharmacokinetic (PK) analysis and technical report writing within Translational Sciences. This person will play a critical role in supporting preclinical efforts to develop novel antibody-based therapeutics.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately follow guidelines and specifications for conducting non-compartmental PK analysis

  • Work closely with PK scientists and other internal employees within DMPK to interpret PK/TK data

  • Translation of complex PK/TK analysis into a formal written technical report

  • Review and identify irregularities in bioanalytical and PK data

  • Publish PK reports and archive data

  • Routine review/QC of data and reports, with a commitment to high quality data and deliverables

  • Maintain study records on various storage platforms

  • Awareness of deadlines and ability to prioritize multiple projects

  • Communication of study progress and results to stakeholders in various departments

Qualifications:

  • B.S. or M.S. in biology or science-related field

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience or equivalent

  • Writing education or experience

  • Experience conducting non-compartmental PK analysis

  • Fundamental knowledge and understanding of bioanalytical and pharmacokinetic data

  • Detail oriented with strong analytical and time management skills

  • Ability to perform routine tasks independently and efficiently

  • Excellent communication skills

VIEW JOBS 5/25/2021 12:00:00 AM 2021-08-23T00:00 Summary: We have an opening in the Quantitative Pharmacology & Disposition department for a research associate that will support quantitative small molecule LC-MS/MS analysis and sample preparation. The ideal candidate will have experience with small molecule quantification of samples from a range of sample extraction techniques. The candidate will work in a highly collaborative environment requiring independence in lab-based work, good communication skills, and the ability to multitask. Previous LC-MS/MS experience with small molecule analysis required. Principal Responsibilities: * Quantitative small molecule bioanalysis using LC-MS/MS from multiple sample preparation techniques (such as solid phase extraction and protein precipitation) across biological matrices * Development of novel small molecule extraction assays as well as LC-MS/MS methods * Routine maintenance, operation, and troubleshooting of LC-MS/MS systems * Analysis and interpretation of data * Contributes to reports and data presentations Required Qualifications: * BA/BS in relevant field with 2+ years' relevant lab experience * A high degree of independence in daily work and report writing is essential * Experience in small molecule quantitation from a range of sample preparation techniques. * Experience with automation for small molecule analysis * Experience with LC-MS/MS systems * Team player and solution-oriented, with strong analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with Sciex and Shimadzu instrumentation a plus * Experience with antibody drug conjugates (ADCs) and ADC stability a plus * Proficiency with electronic data analysis and communication tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Prism) and/or electronic notebook systems As the leading employer in our industry in the Pacific Northwest, Seagen is proud to offer a competitive total compensation package as well as a comprehensive benefits program designed to support the whole lives of our employees and their families.
