Research Associate


  • Plan and execute scientific experiments related to multiple research programs.

  • Design research protocols in collaboration with senior researchers.

  • Assist senior researchers in executing, conducting analysis, and reporting results.

  • Familiarity with literature and internal best practices to identify opportunities to improve productivity and quality of work.

  • Maintain cancer cell lines and establish stable cell lines via lentiviral transduction.

  • Conduct routine molecular and cellular experiments including DNA/RNA/protein extraction, RT-PCR, western blot analysis, flow cytometry, and microplate cell proliferation assays.

  • Perform CRISPR screen and NGS library preparation.

  • Develop and conduct various cell based assays to characterize drug candidates.

  • Interprets data, troubleshoots and recommends corrective actions for routine problems.

  • Train others on new skills and procedures.

  • Maintain an accurate, comprehensible, current laboratory journal.

  • Communicate results in written and oral presentations.

  • Write protocols, procedures and technical reports.


  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline with over 4 years of post-undergraduate wet lab research experience.

  • Experience with molecular cloning, DNA/RNA/protein extraction, RT-PCR, western blot analysis, lentiviral/retroviral infection, cell line construction, and flow cytometry.

  • Knowledge of cancer biology.

  • Highly motivated and strong team player with a high degree of independence.

  • Innovative and critical thinking.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.

To learn more, go to: Primary Responsibilities * Call members to schedule in home visits with a Physician or a Nurse Practitioner * Answer inbound calls from members and assist them with their inquiries * Ensure that the appointments are scheduled accurately and resolve any scheduling issues or concerns This is high volume, customer service environment. You'll need to be efficient, productive and thorough dealing with our members over the phone. You also must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes evening hours. You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: * High School Diploma or GED (or higher) * Bilingual in English and Spanish * 1 years of call center and / or sales experience * Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (create/edit/save/send documents, spreadsheets and correspondences) Preferred Qualifications * Experience working in the health care industry * Experience working with Medicaid or Medicare * Experience working in a metric-driven work environment * Experience working in a customer retention focused role * Experience using an auto dialer system Soft Skills: * Ability to type and talk at the same time while navigating through multiple screens * Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements Ready to answer the call?
