Position Summary:

The Department of Microbiology and Immunology is in search of a Research Assistant to assist in Dr. Eun Lee's lab. The primary duties include lab maintenance, conducting experiments, cell culture, PCR, Western, IHC, and qPCR.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Record keeping

• Data analysis

• Presentation preparation

• Supervision of students

Required Qualifications:

• BS or MS

• Some scientific knowledge equivalent to a BS degree or MS

• Oral and written communication skills

• Must have a demonstrated commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion in past experiences or a commitment to do so as a hourly employee at VCU

This is a restricted position with no set end date and continued employment is dependent upon project need, availability of funding, and performance.
