Research Assistant needed in lab setting working with animals.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience, Biology or related field.

Preferred Qualifications Essential Functions and percent of time:

100%- Participating in execution of motor neuron animal research. Position will include some animal colony management, federal compliance training and experiment execution.

In addition, duties will include assisting students and staff with experimental procedures. This will require a willingness to be trained in or preferable experience in animal handling, tissue collection procedures, knowledge of histology and sectioning techniques. Additionally, the position will require behavior testing, record keeping, data analysis and data management.

This is a grant funded position with continuation dependent on funding. Special contract terms and conditions of employment apply.
