Job Description:

Kansas City University College of Dental Medicine seeks Research Assistants to support research activities within the KCU College of Dental Medicine. These research activities may include biomedical, clinical, epidemiological, and social

behavioral research.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with data collection, entry, analysis, interpretation, and graphical representation with research mentor

• oversight and guidance

• Directly interact with subjects to collect self-reported data

• Abstract data from records and previously collected data

• Provide follow-up assessments

• Documentation development, searching, retrieving, and synthesizing literature, record-keeping, and report

• preparation

• Other duties may be assigned in accordance with curricular objectives, learning outcomes, and research related

• needs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four-year college in a life science field

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and database systems

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Willingness and ability to interact with research subjects according to their availability at locations and times that may occur outside of a "typical" work day (e.g. offsite clinics, communities, and other locations)
