Research And Development Co-Op

DePuy Synthes, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies is recruiting for a Research and Development Co-Op, located in West Chester, PA.

The Co-op will work on research and development of Trauma, Extremities, Craniomaxillofacial, Animal Health or Sports products.

You will use your engineering knowledge to support the process of developing trauma orthopedic products and corrective surgery products. You will gain exposure to both hardware and software development. You will have an opportunity to work through the product development process gaining exposure to MedTech product development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to Medical Device Design and Development Deliverables.

• Design and iterate product concepts quickly and optimally via prototype builds, laboratory testing, and/or computer simulations.

• Support development of design requirements and their translation into design concepts and solutions, based on user needs and product function.

• Develop test methods, design/build fixtures and systems for testing,

• Participate in detailed reviews of designs, test methods, requirements, spec's, etc. and effectively communicate technical information in written/verbal forms.
