What We're Looking For

Baylor University is seeking a is seeking a skilled and driven individual to join our Enrollment Management team as a Research Analyst/Senior Research Analyst. In this role, you will be instrumental in conducting research on university data to provide valuable insights to key stakeholders, facilitating data-informed decisions across various units. The Research Analyst will require a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field, two years of relevant experience, and an active Christian faith. A Master's degree and three years of experience is preferred.

The Senior Research Analyst will require a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field, four years of relevant experience, and an active Christian faith. A Master's degree and six years of experience is preferred.

Additional experience may be considered in lieu of the education requirement.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Intermediate to advanced experience with Python, R, or other statistical computation software.

• Proficiency in SQL for data retrieval and manipulation.

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar is a plus.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a Full-Time basis.

What You Will Do

• Conduct Analysis: Utilize advanced statistical techniques such as regression analysis, predictive modeling, clustering, or segmentation to uncover insights and trends in enrollment data to advance the university's mission.

• Contribute to Predictive Modeling Initiatives: Support the development and implementation of predictive models to forecast enrollment trends, student behavior, or other key metrics, aiding in strategic planning and resource allocation.

• Stay Abreast of Industry Trends: Continuously monitor developments in enrollment management, higher education, and data analytics fields, incorporating relevant best practices and innovations into research methodologies.

• Contribute to Long-Term Planning: Support long-term strategic planning initiatives by providing data-driven insights and recommendations to inform enrollment goals, resource allocation, and program development.

• Evaluate Data Tools and Technologies: Evaluate and recommend new data analysis tools, software, or technologies to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of research and analysis processes.

• Effectively Communicate Insights: Articulate complex research findings and insights in a clear, compelling manner through written reports, presentations, and visualizations, ensuring that key stakeholders across the university can understand and act upon the information effectively.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.

• Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission.

• Ability to comply with university policies.

• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
