The Exclusive Brands Logistics Analyst will work closely with the Exclusive Brands Senior Coordinator of Logistics and Exclusive Brands Logistics Senior Analyst. Assist with providing oversight and guidance for the inventory of Whole Foods Market's Exclusive Brands products, including projects to track and improve inventory performance. Liaison between central and regional teams, coordinate demand signals and availability among the tiers of our distribution network, including vendors, consolidation warehouses and DCs.

Will do Essential Functions

  • Run and analyze reports to support forecasting for inventory management.

  • Monitor logistics to ensure on time deliveries and identifies and resolves inventory and vendor issues.

  • Work with WFM and third party consolidator's personnel on arrival issues.

  • Provide data and work as a liaison for WFM and UNFI buyers and with Exclusive Brands Teams and sub-teams.

  • Collaborate directly with customer to resolve demand and replenishment exceptions (e.g. stock outs, excess stock, etc).

  • Drive improvement in key performance metrics such as order fill rate, on-time delivery, inventory turns, service levels at shelf, returns, and inventory levels vs. budget.

  • Track and report key metrics on a regular basis.

  • Ensure optimal use of processes and policies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the replenishment system.

  • Maintains the Exclusive Brands Cost Catalogue

  • Maintain complete and accurate records of all transactions and projections based on past product movement, record handling, audit protocol and NAFTA documentation.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of supply/demand and general understanding of retail environment including working knowledge of statistics, inventory management, and retail replenishment.

  • Self-starter with the ability to work well in a team environment.

  • Highly organized and able to successfully manage many project deadlines at once in a fast paced and fluid working environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent computer skills including MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

  • 4-5 years Replenishment or Retail Buying/Planning/Analysis experience.

  • Working knowledge of transportation is strongly desired.

Preferred (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):

  • Has worked with WFM programs such as Microstrategy, People Soft, IRMA, Blue Sky, Prodika, etc.

  • Whole Foods retail and/or distribution experience.

  • Retail, supplier or food broker experience.

  • College degree. (4 year degree)

The researchers within LifeWorks' Strategy Department oversee program evaluation, conduct research, and implement evidence-based solutions to ensure that LifeWorks offers the best programs possible to help youth achieve stable housing, maximize their economic opportunities, and increase their self-sufficiency. We are committed to continually improving our services and advancing our field through rigorous data collection, evaluation of our work, and dissemination of our findings. The Research Analyst will work with the Strategy team and agency programs to accomplish our mission by conducting program evaluations and research projects and sharing key findings to internal and external stakeholders. The Research Analyst is involved in an array of projects focused on transition-age youth, covering the topics of child welfare, youth homelessness, behavioral health, education/workforce development, and youth voice. We're looking for a Research Analyst who is passionate about bridging the bidirectional knowledge gap between research and practice. We need someone who is an eager learner, enjoys working with diverse stakeholders (e.g., clients, staff, external research partners, funders), and can translate complex ideas and research findings into laymen's terms. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, leverage both quantitative and qualitative techniques to answer research questions, and have strong analytic and writing skills. DUTIES * Responsible for using advanced analytic techniques (e.g., multilevel modeling, logistic regression, latent class growth analysis, hazard models, propensity score matching, return-on-investment analysis) to analyze agency data and identify programmatic implications. * Designs and implements process and outcome evaluations and mission-focused research projects. * Oversees the collection of quantitative and qualitative data and manages project timelines and deliverables. * Completes literature reviews and writes IRB proposals. * Prepares Agency reports and manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals on an as-needed basis. * Recommends, develops, and delivers staff training related to research and evaluation. * Serves as a liaison to external evaluation partners. * Maintains a library of all relevant program measurement data that is up-to-date and easily accessed. * Supports Grants & Contracts department by completing needs assessments, developing outputs and outcomes, and providing analytic support for the preparation of proposals and reports to funding agencies. * Assists with the execution of a variety of high-impact special projects. * May present findings at national conferences in order to promote the Agency's mission and client-centric approach. QUALIFICATIONS * Master's degree in Statistics, Psychology, Human Development & Family Sciences, Sociology, Social Work, or a related field and 2+ years of experience; or * Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Psychology, Human Development & Family Sciences, Sociology, Social Work, or a related field; and 5+ years of experience. * Preferred experience analyzing and interpreting quantitative and qualitative data and drawing logical conclusions. * Preferred advanced proficiency in select statistical packages (SAS and/or R).
