OverviewThe Operational Evaluation Division (OED) has an immediate career opening for an Analyst supporting the Department of Defense's assessment of the operational effectiveness and suitability of Naval Warfare-related Defense Acquisition Programs. Work at IDA is conducted in a team environment and often involves a multi-disciplinary approach.ResponsibilitiesThe Analyst will support and advise mid and senior-level civilian and military officials regarding the operational test and evaluation of Naval Warfare programs. In particular, the successful candidate will provide analytical support to the Office of the Secretary of Defense regarding testing and evaluating amphibious and combat logistics ships. This effort includes analyzing the design, execution, and results of operational testing and providing independent assessments to the Office of the Director, Operational Test and Evaluation. Close interaction with government officials responsible for planning, developing, and executing tests is required.
