The Bronx Health Collective Research Analyst is a member of a team of public health professionals, assisting in the development and evaluation of innovative interventions focusing on key health conditions, performance improvement projects, clinical research and other general program support of . The Research Analyst provides support with the implementation of special health interventions and activities include data collection, cleaning, and analysis, as well as logistical support for selected programs such as Prenatal and Well-Baby primary care groups. This position will support the development of program curricula, material development and distribution, and delivery of program content.

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to, supporting the preparation of progress reports to ensure program/project completion for key grants, educational activities and material development/distribution, and other related administrative duties as required. This position reports to the Center for Preventive Health and Special Initiatives Manager. The Research Analyst provides support to all Program in research, clinical outcome measures, grant deliverables, and quality improvement activities, and general program assessment projects for Special Initiative Programs.

The Research Analyst also provides support with the management of many aspects of the CPP special health initiatives and programs. including primary care-based program and education programs. This position will have primary responsibility the initial and follow-up of data collection data cleaning, and data analysis activities, as well as logistical support for selected programs such as group prenatal and well baby care, screening for social factors that impact health, and other programs as needed.

This position will support the development of program curricula, material development/distribution, and delivery of program content.

The Research Analyst is responsible for a broad array of data sets used to generate reports, conduct evaluation and research, monitoring outcomes and quality assurance and improvement activities. The data generated by the Research Analyst are used in multiple ways: a) to support research; b) provide information that allows the Starting Right Initiative, Special Initiatives and its collaborators to adapt and evolve programs that best meet the needs of the patients and families it serves; and c) provide internal means to evaluate the administrative and clinical effectiveness of its activities.

Master's degree in public health or related field required. Requires a minimum of 6 months experience within a clinical health sector.

Candidate must be detailed oriented and possess superior oral and written communication skills; strong background with Access/Excel software and databases management, as well as computer proficiency required. Electronic mail, Internet/Intranet, copier, fax machine, and calculator. Ability to use data analysis software packages required.

Fluent Spanish speaker preferred.
