Job Summary

The Apple Worldwide Channel Research team is seeking a talented and experienced Research Analyst. Our team conduct research on customer experience around the world, providing actionable insights to internal partners so they can make informed decisions.

You will be responsible for supporting ongoing research studies in Apple's indirect sales channel and analyzing results. You work closely with other team members, cross-functional business partners, and vendors to deliver research findings and actionable insights to teams across Apple.

Key Qualifications

Background in customer experience research, customer satisfaction research, or other behavioral research

Understanding of study design including randomization, sample size requirements, and basic survey writing principles

Strong qualitative and quantitative data analysis skills

Strong background in multivariate statistics and significant experience using SPSS or other statistical software

Ability to analyze and interpret results, as well as articulate the implications of findings

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Experience presenting research findings to diverse audiences

Detail oriented

Successful in a fast-paced environment, able to juggle projects with competing priorities and meet tight deadlines

Experience with Tableau a plus

Description

  • Manage day-to-day data collection, including communications with fielding vendors, dataset review, survey design and testing, and study schedules- Analyze customer experience data, includes descriptive statistics, crosstabs, correlations, t-tests, and ANOVA- Produce and deliver recurring reports and presentations- Support business partners' research requests, such as providing supplementary analyses- Work with cross-functional business teams to understand their information needs, provide research consulting, and uphold research standard methodologies- Support data management and reporting tools, including communications with internal and external tech teams and maintaining SPSS syntax files- This role is based in our Cupertino office and would require less than 10% travel.

Education

  • Advanced degree in the social sciences or related discipline- 4 years minimum quantitative and qualitative research experience required, in an academic or industry setting
