Research Administration Finance Manager

Whether you have many years of experience or are in the early stages on your career, you can find a rewarding career at Grady JOB SUMMARY The Research Administration Finance Manager reports directly to the Director of Research Administration and will support the Office of Research Administration and the Grady Clinical Research Center.

The Research Administration Manager will provide oversight of financial aspects of the Research Administration Department and the Grady Clinical Research Center. Oversight includes review of research accounts for third-party and research billing/payments, grants and contract invoices/payments as well as budget and expenditure. Assisting with budget development, invoicing, reporting for operational and clinical decision-making, as well as “Leader Goal Metrics”, financial metrics and other administrative functions to ensure successful development, management and close-out of clinical research studies.

The Research Administration Finance Manager will partner with Program Directors, Administrators, Research Personnel, and Staff for the purpose of maintaining compliance with Grady, Local, State, Federal and Sponsor guidelines. QUALIFICATIONS · Bachelors Degree: Business/Business Administration/Finance/Health Administration (with Finance Experience) required · Masters Degree: Business/Finance/Health Administration (with Finance Experience) preferred · Six (6) or more years of job-related experience required · Experience with direct reports, financial data capture and reporting, and utilizing various databases and software preferred · EPIC EMR Database experience preferred
