POSITION: Full-Time RESEA Programs Manager: Staff Associate; MassHire; Lawrence Campus (420 Common Street); 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm; Non-Unit Professional Position; Grant Funded Position

SUMMARY: The RESEA (Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment) Programs Manager coordinates and provides supervisory oversight of all programming related to RESEA at the MassHire Merrimack Valley Career Center. This includes oversight of the scheduling of RESEA review appointments, Career Center Seminars (CCS), customer triage (following CCS). This also includes active participation in RESEA counseling functions on a daily basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor the scheduling (caseload) of all RESEA counseling and review sessions.

  • Provide RESEA training to new Counselors and staff, as well as continuing RESEA training to all staff who work in RESEA related activities.

  • Provide supervision of all RESEA sessions and Career Center Seminars.

  • Monitor the scheduling and participating of all Career Center Seminars (CCS) for both Spanish and English language sessions.

  • Schedule and monitor counselors for the triage of customers following the CCS.

  • Actively communicate with the DCS Operations Manager to ensure that both the CCS and the RESEA documentation is up-to-date and current.

  • Actively collaborate with both DCS Supervisors to ensure coverage of all sessions.

  • Ensure that the Merrimack Valley Career Center is meeting its RESEA goals for customers served.

  • Review and update all RESEA materials in consultation with the DCS Operations Manager to ensure that the Merrimack Valley Career Center is always in program compliance.

  • Create and provide weekly reports on the status of the RESEA programming.

  • Other duties as required.

Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A bachelor's degree

  • A minimum of 1.5 years (18 months) professional experience working with RESEA.

  • Understanding of the RESEA Program and its requirements.

  • Ability to clearly communicate and demonstrate the goals of the RESEA program to staff and customers.

  • Solid oral and written communication skills

  • Transportation and valid driver's license

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Five years of workforce development experience

  • Experience working with and supporting a culturally diverse population

BACKGROUND CHECK: Candidates will be required to pass a CORI and SORI check as a condition of employment.

Additional Information:

SALARY: Anticipated starting salary range is $65,000 - $67,000 annually with complete fringe benefit package including competitive health insurance, dental insurance, basic life insurance, long-term disability insurance, paid sick, vacation and personal leave, educational benefits for employee/spouse/dependents, and excellent retirement benefits.
