Role and Responsibilities
Work independently to provide requirements analysis, requirements management and support to the Systems Engineering department, Proposal Department, Program team, and external customers. Generate requirements databases, analyze and maintain program and technical requirements throughout program lifecycle. Responsible for managing requirements using requirements management database tools.

Assist Project team with requirements database activities.
Work independently and as part of a team, input proposal and program documentation into requirements database.
Apply an analytical and structured methodology to the analysis and clarification of customer requirements, the development of functional attributes for each required component, and the allocation of those requirements to the training hardware or software configuration items.
Develop requirements baselines through the decomposing, analysis and allocation of Customer requirements.
Establish requirements schemas to support program unique requirements.
Assist in the continued development of requirements database throughout the project lifecycle.
Assist in facilitating requirements change process.
Assist program and resource managers in the development and refinement of processes for requirements management.
Provide guidance to project team in the usage of the requirements database.
Work closely with customer and subcontractors to develop project requirements and allocations.
Generate project requirements baselines in accordance with current company policies and processes.
Generate requirements documentation per Customer requirements.
Confidently provide presentations and conduct meetings with internal and external customers.
Work within budgets, schedules and deadlines.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
BS/BA Degree in Systems Engineering or related area/similar field.
1+ year experience in a similar capacity, preferred.
Must be proficient with MS Office tools including Word, Excel, Visio, Project, etc.
Must be proficient in operation of requirements management tools and must be capable of explaining such operations to others.
Must be familiar with requirements analysis activities.
Knowledgeable of the DOORS requirements management tool and its application to requirements engineering.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Analytical math skills necessary to complete the required tasks.
Must be capable of learning and following company processes.
Must be proficient in documentation of actual assumptions, constraints, and work executed
Must be able to communicate effectively to all levels of management, including succinctly delivering specialized knowledge to assist decision makers.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and statistics.
Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.

Must be able to operate personal computer and communicate via telephone.

Must be willing to work overtime
