Job Title: Requirement Engineer
Location: US-MI-Troy
Duration: 6 months


Min 5 yrs of overall exp in Automoive

at least 2 years performing requirements engineering task
2+ years of software development.

Understanding of electrical and software designs that go into automotive electronic control units including CAN communication, UDS diagnostics (ISO 14229), microcontrollers, NVRAM, power modes, etc.

Additionally, prefer knowledge in other areas including DC motor control with hall sensor positioning, anti-pinch algorithms, current measurement, AUTOSAR, and cybersecurity.

Knowledge of requirements engineering database tools such as IBM Rational DOORS or equivalent.
. experience in Requirements Engineering Method. Method is based on industry standards for requirements engineering including those defined by ASPICE, INCOSE, and IREB.

In Scope:

Review and analysis of requirements specifications for feasibility, testability, understanding, realizability and consistency

Importing requirements into DOORS database

Supporting internal and external discussions related to requirements and reviews of requirements

Deriving and creating new requirements in scope of the product within DOORS

Updating change request information related to requirements tasks

Participation in team meetings to provide status, including use of JIRA for task management

Maintaining proper version control through DOORS baseslines

Supporting Change Request analysis and Change Control Board meetings

Supporting documentation related to releases and planning of requirements engineering work

Educational Qualifications
