Scope of Work
Responsible for providing superior customer service to all RG&E customers, Customer Representatives
communicate about all aspects of customers' accounts. They Process customer payments, perform collections
related transactions, perform Department of Social Services transactions, process customer requests for service,
handle billing inquires and handle other miscellaneous customer transactions and duties.
MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Scope of work - range of responsibilities):
customers in one of RG&Es Customer Offices.
courtesy service; customers receive accurate information; and customer records are updated accurately.
Takes payment from customers and applies payment to customer account.
Balances cash drawer and prepares daily cash deposit.
Performs miscellaneous customer service transactions.
Assists with gas and electric emergencies.
Education & Experience Required:
Strong interpersonal skills.
Good computer skills.
Good analytical and decision making skills.
RG&E billing and collections experience.
