Job Summary:
As a Business Development Representative at Telamon Energy, your role is to support the business development department in identifying and generating new business opportunities. You will play a crucial role in the growth of our client base by assisting with lead generation and nurturing. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in business development and sales.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prospecting Support:
Research and identify potential clients and target markets.
Contribute to list-building efforts and maintaining prospect databases.
Gather valuable market intelligence.
Outreach Assistance:
Execute outreach campaigns, including cold-calling and email outreach.
Draft outreach messaging and ensure it aligns with the company's value proposition and strategic initiatives.
Learn and follow best practices for effective prospect communication.
Lead Qualification:
Execute qualification of leads to determine their fit for our services, including asking qualifying questions and documenting lead information accurately in the CRM system.
Execute Solar Sales analyses to pre-qualify opportunities.
Contribute to lead scoring efforts to prioritize high-potential prospects.
Sales:
Identify new business opportunities; find and qualify new accounts; and identify and establish connections with the appropriate individual to create the sale.
Administrative Support:
Provide administrative support for scheduling meetings.
Assist with calendar management to optimize their outreach efforts.
Maintain organized records of all interactions and data in the SAM and CRM system.
Learning and Growth:
Actively participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance your skills.
Seek mentorship from senior BDMs to develop a deeper understanding of business development strategies.
Continuously educate yourself about industry trends and competitor offerings.
Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment in messaging and strategy.
Share insights and feedback from prospect interactions to help refine outreach efforts.
Reporting:
Generate reports on key performance indicating (KPI) metrics and activities.
Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Proficiency with basic office and sales management software.
Education and Experience Required
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Management, or related field.
