Job duties:

• The EBT Coordinator performs activities related to the review, research, monitoring/support, and analysis of the SC DSS programs and services. Participate in activities related to the review, monitoring, and support of the DSS EBT/EFT contract. Responsible for the submission of federal SNAP State issuance reports and participates in all EBT/EFT program activities to include P-EBT and/or Summer EBT.

• Participates in the daily operations of all EBT/EFT programs, including the contract management for the EBT/EFT vendor for Economic Services. This includes managing the required FNS issuance reporting for the State. Monitors daily/monthly reports on SNAP issuance and redemptions within the EBT/EFT environment.

• Provides problem resolution assistance to county staff and to clients relating to all EBT/EFT issues, including, but not limited to, contacting vendor or retailers as needed. Provides assistance and training to agency staff as needed on the vendor EBT/EFT administrative systems.

• Complete all Federal and State reporting associated with all EBT and EFT programs timely and accurately. Communicates with IT as needed to keep them informed of technical issues affecting benefit issuance.
  
  Assists with system development initiatives including new technology. This includes, but not limited to, system testing, system procedures documentation development and working with and across program lines to develop said procedures and upgrades.

• Perform Red Cross shelter duty or other emergency shelter duty/services as directed

Minimum and Additional Requirements

A Bachelor's Degree and relevant program experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Agency Requirements:

A Bachelor's Degree and three (3) years of of experience in any combination of social work, management, business administration, administrative services or public administration.

A Master's Degree and two (2) years of experience in any combination of social work, management, business administration, administrative services or public administration.
