We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Reports Analyst.

Position Summary:

This position will be a member of the Epic Clarity Reports team dedicated to the design and development of reports and analytics solutions for our Clinically Integrated Network.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform analysis, development, and testing of complex clinical and analytical reports and analytics with minimal supervision;

  • Perform thorough testing and QA on new reports and changes to existing reports to deliver high-quality solutions;

  • Recommend appropriate tools and solutions based on depth of reporting and technology expertise;

  • Design and develop high-efficiency reports solutions based on end-user requirements;

  • Understand Epic EMR front and backend workflows as they relate to the report requests;

  • Interact and communicate well at all levels of the organization;

  • Engage in intra- and inter-departmental collaboration

  • Work both independently and as part of a larger team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • Proven track record of developing with Crystal Reports, WebI and SAP BusinessObjects suite report against Epic Clarity and Caboodle databases.

  • Minimum 2 years' experience is required that includes the design, develop, test and troubleshoot of Epic Clarity clinical, financial, and/or operational reports.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must.

  • Epic Clarity certifications are a definitive plus and areas of preferred expertise are Ambulatory, Cadence, ASAP, ADT, Professional Billing.

  • Knowledge of Epic Reporting Workbench and Radar applications is also preferred.

  • Knowledge and experience of reports development though SAP Universes a definitive plus.

  • Experience with developing visualizations and dashboard in Tableau a plus.

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

The position's core responsibilities include providing management reporting, financial planning, financial accounting /reporting and analytical decision support to the Corporate Finance Business Unit and Ally Corporate Reporting. The position also includes exposure to various responsibilities such as regulatory reporting, risk related reporting, stress testing, allowance reporting, funding matters and certain other operational support. The position also works alongside business unit leadership on projects focused on growing /expanding the business, including review/due diligence on potential acquisitions, new products/industries, etc. Job Responsibilities * Provide analysis and support for departmental and strategic initiatives * Assist in completion of forecasts/business plans and provide required information to corporate departments and business unit partners * Develop, update, and refine management reports and tools to support the business and contribute to profitable growth * Maintain, refine and update business unit pricing model, working in concert with business partners * Assist in the continued development and reporting of client level profitability and provide analysis to explain results * Provide support for preparation of Ally Senior Management and Board of Directors presentations * Assist with the completion of various regulatory reports and other regulatory/SEC reporting requirements, including stress tests and other ad-hoc reporting requirements. Qualifications * Develop a strong understanding of all monthly reporting processes within the Corporate Finance business * Obtain an understanding of the Corporate Finance business and the significant drivers of profitability * Identify process gaps and work to improve overall CF Finance efficiency * Ensure compliance with all Ally policies and procedures * Develop and maintain positive working relationships, both within CF and externally, and leverage those relationships to provide fast and accurate reporting Experience and Skills Requirements * Undergraduate degree in Accounting/Finance from a reputable business school (MBA or Masters in Finance preferred, but not required) * Sound analytical and problem solving skills * Strong interpersonal and communication skills * Ability to build strong working relationships with other Finance team members * Advanced skills in Microsoft Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) * Experience/internship in financial planning and analysis or public/private accounting in the financial services industry would be a plus, but is not required Ally Overview Ally Financial Inc.
