Rise Against Hunger is an international hunger relief organization that is driven by the vision of a world without hunger. Since 1998, the organization has coordinated the distribution of food and lifesaving aid to the world's most vulnerable in countries all over the world. The organization's mission is to build awareness and drive a global commitment to ending hunger by 2030.
The Reporting/Data Analyst will support the business teams at Rise Against Hunger (RAH) and participate in business requirements gathering, report development and in analyzing data for stakeholders. The candidate also drives planning for data governance and compliance with RAH and performs gap analysis and identify solutions. The candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills and collaborate well with internal RAH teams. The Data Analyst must be able to present analysis to end users in a clear and concise manner and must be able to effectively work under the IT leadership team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform data analysis against large and varying data sets and perform ad-hoc data analysis to uncover critical information
Manage and support existing sales force reports and dashboards and build new ones as needed.
Prepare functional requirements documentation for any data or reporting project request from internal RAH teams.
Communicate with the stakeholders on the deliverables and provide timelines and recommendations and prioritize report development work.
Respond to data inquiries from internal stakeholders.
Works with peers to identify root causes of complex data issues and design solutions and provide opportunities for improvement.
Cross collaborate globally with area subject matter experts to improve business processes.
Strong understanding of database concepts and query (SQL) writing skills.
Solid data analysis and presentation skills.
Ability to perform in a fast-paced work environment
Great Communication Skills both Verbal and Written, English proficiency
