Job Description:

As the Reporting and Analytics Senior Consultant you will be responsible for the oversight of key reporting for the Member Communications team. Your role will sit at the intersection of a Reporting/Analytics team and the front line staff managers responsible for executing member communications. Your work on reporting and analytics will be critical in mitigating both financial and reputational risk and you will play a key role in keeping the team proactive by presenting the most salient data observations cross functionally and then facilitating solutions to problems. Some of your additional responsibilities will include:

  • Perform reporting for multiple Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to indicate the overall health of Member Communications

  • Produce monthly scorecards to help teams measure individual and team performance

  • Perform various aspects of performance guarantee reporting

  • Develop new ongoing reports to meet our internal customer needs

  • Create ad hoc reporting to meet operational needs

  • Performing the tracking of the root cause of missed KPIs and performance guarantees and implementing effective counter measures

  • Implement solutions to automate manual reporting

  • Performing multiple quality control tasks to ensure perfect execution

  • Update reporting to be current based on ongoing enhancements and / or process changes

  • Perform additional Analysis / provide reporting assistance as needed

  • Update documentation and assist with special projects / initiatives

  • Mentoring and Training new team members

A valued partner, you will provide consultation to business partners to ensure quality reporting and analytics is provided to foster improvement to our internal processes. Your success will be driven by your ability to act as a resource to provide quality analytics and reporting which will help our partners make, and execute against, data driven decisions. In this role you will need to bring with you both your business insight and technical skills to be successful. Your skills will be tested as you will partner with key internal business partners to turn their requests into actionable reports. Your ability to communicate effectively across business units and with all levels of the organization will also be imperative to your success. You will have the opportunity to bring data to life and use it to influence fact-based business decisions. Your contributions will help CVS Health in maintain our position as a leader in the Pharmacy Benefit Management marketplace.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years in a Reporting / Analytics role
  • 3+ years working with Microsoft Excel

  • Penetrating attention to detail

  • Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn

  • Sufficient knowledge of the Member Communication business to have immediate impact

  • Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word proficiency

  • Detailed experience working with performance guarantees

  • Process Improvement experience

  • SQL Experience basic ability to write queries and manage large data sets

  • Hands on experience with business intelligence tools: Tableau, SSRS/AS, Business Objects, COGNOS or the like

Education

Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.

  • Bachelor degree in quantitative field; equivalent work experience may be considered
