Collaborate with leadership, Operations personnel, Technology Operations, and project professionals to understand Company needs and devise possible solutions. Implement new statistical or other mathematical methodologies, simulation and optimization skills to analyze, recommend and implement improvements for the purpose of increasing operational effectiveness and efficiency. Ability to source, collect, cleanse and interpret data to gather insights that have a business application. Develops algorithms and predictive models to solve business problems. Works with team members to develop prototypes and translate them into the production environment. Ability to define metrics and develop tools to monitor.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Aggregate Operations process information from complex disparate sources quickly

  • Optimize joint development efforts through appropriate database use and design

  • Extract and transform transaction data from the data warehouse sytem

  • Analyze data to identify trends, outliers and anticipate future behavior

  • Create, develop and deploy useful advanced graphical depictions of relevant data to Operations personnel

  • Support development of departmental and company processes & procedures related to the Operations work stream

  • Use business tools and advanced industry knowledge to monitor the effectiveness of processes and personnel

  • Identify, recommend and implement operational and technological tools to improve efficiency

  • Review and ensure processes comply with internal policies and external regulations

  • Coordinate, participate, and/or manage multiple projects assigned by management

  • Design measurement criteria to monitor the nature of processes and end-to-end integration across functions


Requires a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Finance, Computer Programming, Management Information System, or related field from an accredited college or university.


Requires a minimum of 5 years of analytical experience. SAP, BW, VBA and Excel experience preferred.

Additional Knowledge, Skills, Licenses/Certifications, Abilities & Personal Characteristics (KSLAPs):

  • Able to demonstrate proficiency in Advanced capabilities with Excel, Access, Business Objects

  • Able to apply knowledge of VBA programming

  • Able to demonstrate experience developing and validating predictive models

  • Able to extract a data set and model it mathematically

  • Able to demonstrate advanced interpersonal, presentation and oral / written communication skills

  • Able to assess root cause of problems and identify / recommend solutions

  • Able to be proactive in identifying potential issues and recommending / implementing solutions

  • Able to demonstrates effective problem solving and decision-making skills, good insight and judgment as well as innovative and creative thinking

  • Able to maintain a valid Texas driver's license.

  • Able to operate the Company's communication equipment, i.e. telephone, fax, etc.

  • Able to demonstrate commitment to compliance with applicable laws and regulations, the Company's Ethics and Compliance Code of Conduct, and other Company policies and procedures and do so consistently, take all required training courses and do so timely.

  • Able to demonstrate respect for all individuals, adhere to the Company's values and business practices and do both consistently.

  • Able to demonstrate working knowledge of SAP Financials and Work Orders Process and integrate systems to develop tools for efficiencies.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to operate a personal computer, either desktop or laptop.

  • Able to see, sit, stand, walk and write for extended periods of time.

  • Able to view a personal computer monitor or laptop screen for extended periods of time.

  • Able to use up to 20lbs of force occasionally, to move, lift or push objects, and/or a minimal amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise.

Working Conditions:

  • Able to work indoors, in an office environment, regardless of whether cubicle, open office or private office.

  • Able to respond to emergency calls 7 days per week, 24 hours per day and work overtime as required.

  • Able to function successfully in environment with moderate pressure to meet deadlines.
