The Data, Analytics, and Measurement team plays a strategic role within Entercom by leading data management and providing business intelligence for both internal and external stakeholders. We are an enthusiastic and dynamic group focusing on guiding business decisions through accurate, relevant, and timely data, analytics and insights. The team is highly entrepreneurial, and is working fast and smart to solve some of the biggest technology challenges within the red-hot Audio space.

The team is growing and we are seeking an Analyst, who will be responsible for providing custom business intelligence and analytics support to Entercom's sales, programming, and digital teams. An ideal candidate for this role has 1-3 years of experience in generating insights from diverse datasets and research & analytics tools. They have strong communication skills to translate stakeholder business questions into an analytics plan and then communicate the narrative behind the numbers. This role is for a hands-on analyst who dives into the data, interprets it, and turns it into actionable insights, recommendations and visualizations. This role will require strong business acumen, an understanding of statistical and forecasting concepts, and the ability to support analytical needs across the business.


  • Design and deliver ongoing analysis to provide marketing, sales and key business stakeholders with insights to make smart decisions based on data and not assumptions

  • Deliver solution and segment analyses, such as customer profiling, segmentation studies, post-program measurement, and other ad-hoc projects

  • Manage, analyze and report key marketing metrics via both manual and automated data collection methods

  • Create scalable, innovative approaches to managing and analyzing customer data to solve challenging business problems

  • Keep abreast of current analytics trends and practices to introduce innovative techniques and methodologies that will help the business better understand the competitive landscape

  • Clearly present findings from complex analyses in an easy to understand way

  • Perform other related duties as required or assigned that contribute to the effectiveness of the department and to accomplish strategic goals and objectives.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or Digital Marketing

  • Experience with Google Analytics, Domo, Nielsen a plus

  • 1-3 years of related work experience

  • Strong analytical mind and curiosity. Is skilled at digging into data to assess results and key takeaways to leverage for continuous optimization.

  • Strong analytical competencies such as ability to formulate an analytical problem; QC data and results; summarize key findings/insights; make actionable recommendations

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, strong attention to detail and can skillfully manage several complex projects with multiple moving parts.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Effective listener.

  • Ability to articulate and to sell ideas and concepts

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills. Strong personal integrity

  • Superior planning skills, both strategic and tactical

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture

VIEW JOBS 5/13/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-08-11T00:00 Responsibilities: Under the general supervision of the Manager, Regulatory Reporting, the Analyst is responsible for the continued enhancement of the Regulatory Reporting process through the improvement and completion of existing state mandated reporting requirements while maintaining a high level of accuracy, integrity and timeliness of data reports. * Develops and maintains a complete understanding of all data sources (including, but not limited to the Data Warehouse, the Facets System and the Reports Database) available for reporting. * Completes all regulatory reporting requirements assigned, accurately and meeting all regulatory deadlines.Failure to do so may result in the company incurring financial penalties, decreased satisfaction by client (e.g., expansion plans) and compromised relationship with state or other regulatory agencies. * Performs data verification through trending, benchmarking or other analyses to ensure data integrity. * Maintains electronic and paper documentation supporting the completion of each report for each reporting period within departmental guidelines. * Utilizing team approach, works cooperatively with other staff members, sharing specific technical or business expertise. * Develops and maintains strong knowledge of business practices, claims coding and the managed care industry in general and applies knowledge to determining data and report solutions. * Develops and maintains strong working knowledge of state and other regulatory agency statutory reporting policies and procedures. * Uses independent judgment (with supervisory guidance as necessary or appropriate) to ensure reporting is completed as accurately and efficiently as possible. * Appropriately identifies and researches any issues or problems potentially compromising the accuracy or integrity of the data reported, utilizing on-line help, the Facets system or other reference materials. * Identifies and analyzes data and/or reporting anomalies.Researches, tests and validates results. Provides explanations for variances and changes.Documents agreed upon explanations in "notes to files", copying statutory management. * Communicates with management/stakeholders to determine appropriate courses of action prior to enacting changes in reporting processes. Experience and education: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required. * Minimum of 2 years' experience in Data Analysis, Reporting, Claims Reporting, Managed Care or Healthcare environment with working knowledge of business computer programs, applications and systems, database structures and data files required. * Experience with Microsoft Access or other Relational Databases required * Familiar with Microsoft Office Products (e.g., Excel, Word, etc.) * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Proven analytical and problem solving skills. * Strong attention to detail as demonstrated in the accuracy and quality of the work produced.
