Overview

TITLE: Report Writer/Analyst

REPORTS TO: Clinical Compliance Manager

CONTACTS: Center Staff, State, Medicaid, Community, Administration

Under direction, will create reports and forms providing vital information to the Center Administration to aid them in having the different departments run efficiently.

Responsibilities

Main Functions

• Run monthly reports showing both clinical and financial numbers.

• Design custom reports using Java; SQL; PL/SQL; HTML; and other necessary languages that can be integrated into the center's EHR system.

• Maintain/change reports in response to the center's needs.

• Meet and collaborate with the EHR Systems Administrator and Clinical Compliance Manager, along with the Senior Management Team to understand EHR data and informational/analytic needs.

• Will be required to learn the center's EHR and/or manual recording and computerized information systems utilized by the center.

• Consults with system users to define their needs.

• Keeps current with developments in IT.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Education: Applicants must possess a bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Healthcare, or Finance

Skills: Familiarity with PENTAHO (Preferred); Proficiency in Java; SQ; MS Office (specifically Excel)

Experience: Experience in a healthcare setting and understanding of clinical/business operational areas when reporting (Preferred)
