About the role

The primary responsibility of the Report Writer will be to draft qualification, validation, and study sample analysis reports for studies performed in the Laboratory Sciences Department, supporting clinical and preclinical (GLP and non-GLP) studies for final review by the Responsible Scientist (e.g., Contributing Scientist, Principal Investigator). The Report Writer will ensure that applicable report sections are accurately completed under the supervision of the Responsible Scientist. The Report Writer will assist assigned study personnel throughout the lifetime of the study report from laboratory completion through report finalization.

What You'll Do Here

  • Conduct work in compliance with current applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), GLP and GCP regulations and company guidelines and policies.

  • Review reporting requirements with Responsible Scientist, such as type, template, formatting, and content.

  • Using study report templates, draft applicable sections of the report.

  • Generate data tables from Watson LIMS, as applicable.

  • Submit the draft report to the Responsible Scientist for review and drafting of their applicable sections.

  • Review the reporting schedule milestones with the Responsible Scientist of assigned laboratory studies and communicate any conflicts or delays.

  • Assist in the maintenance and generation of study plan and report templates.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university. College degree and/or University degree in life sciences, engineering, or equivalent field

  • One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in an FDA, ISO, or regulated laboratory a plus

  • Moderate to advanced computer skills. MS Office proficiency

What We Offer

The pay range estimated for this position is $21.73 - $28.00 (per hour rates or annually). Please note that hourly rates/salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, prior relevant experience, skills, education, certification, location as well as internal equity and market data.
