As a Wholesale Replenishment Planner, you will be responsible for the forecasting and demand planning functions in the wholesale business. Through careful analysis and implementation of various replenishment strategies, you will strive to achieve higher fill rates, increased sales, better profitability, and improved inventory turns within the replenishment business.

Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities:

  • Create and maintain sku level demand plans for replenishment styles

  • Purchase replenishment inventory monthly according to latest forecast and re-project future needs.

  • Analyze store level information to maximize sales potential as well as research and address any store concerns.

  • Review historical sales trends, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate results.

  • Maintain model stocks and ensure successful execution of programs

  • Develop critical planning tools, key reports, and provide analytical support for business decision making

  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts of processes to ensure optimal forecasting which should result in higher customer service, reduced inventory, and reliable financial plans.

  • Identify replenishment opportunities and liabilities and strategically react to these changes in business trends

  • Analyze actual performance to the forecast and initiative appropriate corrective actions

  • Manage intro, exit, and maintenance strategies for replenishment product

  • Optimize assortment through sku rationalization and business analysis.

  • Monitor replenishment POs and ensure timely receipt of goods.

  • Responsible for various administrative reporting functions within the department.

Qualifications

Ideal Candidates Should Possess:

  • 4+ years demand planning, forecasting, retail planning, or other relevant analytical roles within the industry (Wholesale experience is a must)

  • Bachelors degree (preferably in Merchandising, Business, Finance)

  • Advanced business knowledge of retail, merchandising and forecasting concepts

  • Ability to utilize retail math skills to analyze and drive business

  • Demonstrated proficiency in forecasting with an understanding of their operational and financial impacts

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel along with web based reporting tools

  • Results oriented and self motivated individual with strong sense of urgency

  • Must be proactive with the ability to multi task and prioritize initiatives

  • Robust problem solving, analytical and data management skills

  • Exhibits high standards and accountability, detail oriented and a person who takes pride in maintaining superior accuracy

  • Thrives in a dynamic environment and enthusiastic about approaching complex issues or opportunities with creative solutions

  • Demonstrates strong organization and commuication skills

  • Ability to work collaborative team environment and effectively interact with cross functional partners at various levels
