Purpose/Introduction
Chevron Phillips Chemical is seeking a Repairable Coordinator to lead the repairable process at the Cedar Bayou facility in Baytown, TX. This role will focus on supporting the facility's safe and reliable operations and continuous improvement of the Operations and Maintenance Work Process (OMWP) and serving as the facility's key contact between key stakeholders to ensure timely and satisfactory completion of repair orders. This role will report through the Maintenance Department.
Responsibilities
Ensure that established safety goals are attained
Ensure adherence to the Operations Maintenance Workflow Process, budget management for repairable, and budget accountability by key organizations
Foster a teamwork approach to resolving issues with Operations, Maintenance, Technical, and Contractor personnel
Interface with operations, projects, procurement, and equipment reliability groups to identify gaps they require attention
Develop and progress Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for repairable
Conduct periodic review and update to the GRT and Stakeholders on program effectiveness
Lead or participate on incident investigation teams
Interact with work permitting process as needed and ensuring that all applicable safety procedures and other safe work practices are followed

Interface and oversee safety, quality, and efficiency of 3rd party contractors
Ensure maintenance activities are focused on plant reliability improvements
Support budget development and manage actual costs to meet budget target
Utilize SAP systems to improve reliability, cost tracking, planning and scheduling
Support the Management of Change (MOC) process for equipment upgrades and changes
Review and approve repair work scope and quotes
Participate/lead cross functional teams to accomplish key objectives
Ensure offsite and onsite repairs are progressed in a timely manner with quality reliability driven work scope
Provide direction to all personnel assigned directly to the repairable process
Ensure that critical repairs have an established repair complete-by date that is reached with alignment with Operations
Required Qualifications
High school diploma/GED with at least 5 years of related experience in the petrochemical or refining industry in the Mechanical Maintenance or Turnaround field OR a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with at least 2 years of experience in the petrochemical or refining industry
Working knowledge of industry Codes and Standards such as ASME, API, etc.
Excellent written and verbal skills
Good presentation skills

Ability to prioritize work to align with goals
Ability to meet deadlines
Proven leadership and administrative abilities
Understanding of safety issues in a hazardous environment
Ability to establish respectful relationships with team members at all levels
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Maintenance activities
SAP and PowerBI Experience
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and TEAMS)
Experience managing contractors/vendors
