Requires basic knowledge of computer components and candidates must be willing to work every OTHER Saturday a nd open to working possible 12-hour days . Position pays $12/hr AND $1.00 raise every 3 months if goals are met. 
Shift:  
Monday

  • 6:30am - until finished (11-12 hours)
    Tuesday

  • 7:00am- until finished (11-12 hours)
    Wednesday

  • 7:00am- until finished (11-12 hours)
    Thursday- 7:00am- until finished (11-12 hours)
    Friday- 7:00am- until finished (11-12 hours)
    Every OTHER Saturday - 9:30am- until finished (11-12 hours) 
    The schedule has every other Saturday is mandatory. The weeks you don t work Saturday you would have that Monday off also.  Every other week you'll enjoy a LONG 3-day weekend! 

    Responsibilities: 
 
    Reviews customers complaint to determine details of equipment problems
    Disassembles machines to examine parts, for wear or defects, using hand or power tools and measuring devices
    Conducts diagnosis of problems according to customer complaint
    Advises customer call center concerning equipment operation, maintenance, or requests approval for advanced repair
    Repairs laptop or desktop units according to requirements, using hand or power tools and measuring devices
    Reassembles machines, analyzes equipment performance, cleans, or adjusts mechanical parts to maintain operating efficiency to prevent repeat returns for repair
    Inspects units for cosmetic defects, reports findings and completes repair ticket 
    Reads specifications, such as blueprints, charts, or schematics, to determine machine settings or adjustments
    Maintains repair parts inventories and places order for additional parts 
    Reinstalls software programs or adjust settings on existing software to fix machine malfunctions
    Compares findings with the customers reported problem and advises customer call center of failures found
    Runs basic tests (mri and e-test)
    Learns and uses new processes and procedures for the WUR repair line
    Other duties as assigned by supervisor and manager 

    Requirements: 
 
    High School Diploma or Equivalent
    1 year of experience assembling /disassembling, testing, trouble shooting and repairing computers
    Experience using hand power tools required
    Must be able to speak, read, and write English
    Advanced knowledge of computer hardware

Who Would I Interact With?This position interacts daily with Customers, Technicians, Parts Associates, Cashiers, Sales Associates and Managers, just to name a few. What are the day-to-day responsibilities? * Performs body and fender repairs, as outlined on repair or work order, with direction from Metal Technician.
