Repair Technician

Schedule: 8:00 am

• 5:00 pm, Monday

• Friday

Pay: $16.50/hr.

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic disassembly and washing of freight or locomotive valves or brake pistons.

• Identify serviceable vs. non-serviceable parts.

• Operate semi-automatic equipment including pedestal buffers, hand buffers, and washing machines.

• Handle valves, parts, and tools safely and efficiently.

• Utilize power and manual tools effectively.

• Adhere to all quality and safety regulations, policies, and procedures.

• Perform hazardous waste management duties as necessary.

• Support Quality, Product Safety, and Health/Safety/Environmental/Energy policies.

• Comply with all relevant statutory or regulatory compliance obligations.

• Support the Integrated Management System policies, procedures, and instructions.

• Contribute to relevant key performance indicators (KPIs).

Qualified candidates will possess:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 1-2 years of related experience.

• Strong communication, mechanical, organization, and time management skills.
